Are you due for an annual service? Are you hesitant to schedule an annual service of your sump pump system because you are unsure of what exactly takes place? Well Basement Systems of WV is here to answer all your questions. Let’s give you a rundown of exactly what takes place in your basement or crawlspace during a visit from one of our Service Technicians.
Service Tech Arrives
After you schedule an annual service by calling Basement Systems of WV at 304-622-0048 or 1-888-619-1300 a service technician arrives at your home on your scheduled date, and time.
Sump Pump Operation Check
The service technician will start by checking your pump operation. This is done by checking the operation or your float switch, intake, check valve and impeller. He/she will then continue by cleaning your sump liner of any sediment and/or silt. This is very important as it prevents your pump’s mechanical parts from getting clogged or jammed with dirt. The service technician will also change the batteries in your Water Watch alarm as this needs to be done annually.
Battery Back Up Check
If you have purchased a battery back up for your system the service techs will run a diagnostic check to ensure your battery back up is working correctly to protect your basement.
SaniDry Dehumidifier Service
If your basement system includes a SaniDry dehumidifier your service tech will service, the SaniDry by replacing the filter and insure that the unit is in proper working order.
CleanSpace Liner Inspection
If your systems includes a CleanSpace liner the service tech will check your CleanSpace Liner to ensure the seams are secure, and inspect for any rips or tears.
Finally, our service tech will inspect your basement or crawlspace for any signs of problems and may suggest ways of enhancing your waterproofing program. We're always expanding our product line to help keep your basement or crawlspace dry.
