Shortly after James gave us a call, we had an appointment set with one of our system design specialists. Our specialist determined the best solution for James was to install a CleanSpace vapor barrier liner, a SmartSump sump pump system, EverLast crawl space door, and a CX dehumidifier. The SmartSump sump pump can pump 2,500 gallons of water per hour at a 5-foot head.

We continue to get water inside our downstairs. We have tried to install a french drain and that worked for a bit but ultimately with the rain we have been having we have now gotten water in our home twice in 1 week.
Vicinity of Green Acres Drive in Hurricane
Purchased a new home ~1 month ago. Previous owner had an interior foundation drain and sump installed. However, whoever installed it left the dirt from trenches dug against the foundation walls causing them to be wet. The existing moisture barrier on the floor probably only covers about half the space as it's cut into pieces. Ground is wet and causing humidity to come into the house. Currently renovating interior before we move in. Have a dehumidifier going in the house to combat the problem, but realize this is not a permanent solution. Working on sealing the many penetrations of the building envelope that open to the crawlspace which should help some with the problem but want to get a quote for a better idea of how much a permanent solution to the problem will cost. The house is approximately 1100 sqft ranch built in 1972. There is approximately 2 to 3 feet of working room from ground to floor joist. Please contact me with any additional questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for your time. -John
